Terms and Conditions
Payments are non-refundable (unless your booking is cancelled by The Moochy Pooch) and payment must be made to complete the booking. By completing your booking, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below. You are permitted to reschedule your booking, however, we will need a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to your booking time.
- Please note that CCTV is in operation at the field. Footage is not actively monitored, so rest assured you’re not being watched during your visit. Recordings will only be reviewed if there’s a specific reason to do so, such as reports of early or late arrivals, issues with dog waste not being cleaned up, or other concerns. This helps us maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
- All dogs must fully vaccinated and up to date with their flea, tick and worming treatments to use the field.
- Please arrive on time and not early, (on the hour) to allow the previous customer to leave safely.
- Do not enter the carpark until the previous customer has left.
- If you arrive early, please do not wait on the driveway in front of the gates as this will block the previous customer from leaving.
- You must leave the field at the correct time (10 minutes to the hour) at the end of your booking, to allow the next customer to arrive.
- If you arrive late for your booking, you must still leave on time.
- You are advised to use the bungy cord provided to tie back the main car park gate before entering. This is to prevent it swinging back onto you or your car.
- You are advised to lock yourself in the field before letting your dog(s) out of the car. Please use the lock from the main gate and lock the gate on the inside. You are responsible for making sure the gate is secure and that your dog(s) cannot escape.
- Your car and possessions are left in the carpark at your own risk.
- You are not permitted to let anyone else into the field, unless they are friends or family members that will be accompanying you on your walk.
- In the event of bringing a friend or family member, or sending somebody in place of you, you agree that you assume responsibility for their safety and ensure that they always abide by these terms and conditions, whilst using the field.
- The field is enclosed with 6ft high fencing. If your dog(s) can jump this or dig under it, The Moochy Pooch cannot be held responsible for loss, injury or death.
- Any damage to the fencing, carpark or equipment must be reported to The Moochy Pooch as soon as possible. Although the field is regularly checked, damage may occur from time to time for various reasons, including digging by dogs or other animals (which may cause an opening or breach in either the gate or fence) falling trees or branches and general wear and tear. If you become aware of, or observe, any issue with the condition of the fence or gate, please make us aware immediately so that we can alert other users and so that we can repair it as soon as possible.
- The Moochy Pooch cannot accept responsibility for any dog escaping the field through either the gate or fence, irrespective of whether this is a consequence of a defect in the fence or gate or whether we have notified you in advance or not.
- It is your responsibility to ensure your dog(s) are safe whilst in the field and using the equipment. The Moochy Pooch cannot accept responsibility for injury or death while using these. You are responsible for the dog(s) and the people with you, during your visit. If your dog(s) attacks another dog or person, you are responsible for the injuries incurred.
- The Moochy Pooch is not responsible for any injury, death or illness contracted by any dog or person that uses the field. You are advised to insure your dog(s).
- The field must be left in the condition you found it so please dispose of dog waste in the bins provided.
- Smoking is not allowed in the field. Cigarettes are harmful to dogs, if eaten. During the summer months, discarded cigarettes can cause fires.
- Do not let your dog(s) dig holes, if they do, please stop them as soon as possible and refill the holes.
- Please take any balls or toys home with you. You can dispose of damaged or broken toys in the bins provided.
- There is a maximum limit of 10 dogs allowed at the field at one time.
- There is a maximum limit of 2 vehicles allowed in the car park at one time.
- The field is a natural outdoor space, which means the ground may be uneven, contain hidden holes under long grass, or have wild plants like thorns and stinging nettles. You may also encounter birds, wildlife, and natural items such as berries, mushrooms, or acorns. It is your responsibility to supervise your dog(s) at all times, ensuring they do not eat anything from the field or put themselves at risk. There may be overhanging or fallen branches, occasional flooding in wet weather, or cracks in the ground during dry periods. The Moochy Pooch cannot accept liability for any injury, damage, or loss-including to you, your dog(s), or your vehicle that may result from conditions within the field.
- Before your booking you will receive the main gate code via text and email. You are not permitted to share this code with anyone else, unless they are accompanying you on the walk. The gate code will be changed periodically, so please check for the current code before arriving at the field. If you do not receive your code, please call Emily on 07368 450206.
- The gate must be locked correctly when leaving the field. Please fasten the padlock through the chain and twist the numbers to randomise them.
- If you have an XL Bully there are additional terms and conditions that you must agree to. Please see the XL Bully page.
- The Moochy Pooch has the right to cancel a booking for any reason.
- The Moochy Pooch reserves the right to refuse entry.
